Application Engineer - 3D Scanner (Remote)

Job Description

Perform installation, training, demo and support for customers, both in-house and on-site.
Support sales team in the sales process, providing product recommendations for customer applications that enhance their business efficiency.
Stay updated with competitor information and market trends.
Cooperate with sales team to identify potential leads and opportunities.
Serve as SHINING 3D’s primary point of technical contact for handing troubleshooting, maintenance and service.
Represent SHINING 3D at webinars, virtual events and in-person trade shows when applicable.
Travel required to support above listed responsibilities.

Prefer a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience in the areas of metrology, engineering, manufacturing, or quality control.
A minimum of 2 years of technical related experience (Having experience of 3D scanner, CMM, CAD/CAM or metrology software is a plus).
Ability to interpret engineering drawings for dimensional control requirements. GD&T experience is a plus.
Professional demeanor and confidence in presenting to a group of people.
Self-motivated and able to work both independently and alongside SHINING 3D’s management and sales team.
Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
Willingness to travel (up to 40%).
